Minister of Social Development to Visit Sozo FoundationS Genesis Incubator Hub in Vrygrond as build up to Budget

The Genesis Incubator Hub is a community-based programme designed to support youth entrepreneurship, home-based micro-enterprises and local economic development in Vrygrond, a community facing high levels of poverty and unemployment. This initiative specifically targets young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET).
Since its inception in 2023, the Hub has supported 38 young entrepreneurs, including 20 micro-enterprises currently receiving targeted support funded through a recent R849,255.10 grant from the NDA.
The Minister will engage with youth entrepreneurs, witness enterprise activities and reaffirm government's commitment to sustainable livelihoods, youth empowerment and community economic development.
