The National Development Agency (NDA) and Alliance of NPO Networks will on Monday, 27 February 2023, host the annual World NGO Day in South Africa. The commemoration will pay tribute and celebrate NGOs / NPOs / CBOs for the quality services they continue to offer to ordinary and vulnerable citizens to address social ills and deliver critical essential services - together with other various sector stakeholders across the country.

The National Development Agency is a Schedule 3A National Public Entity with a mandate for poverty eradication and is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Social Development.

The National Development Agency (NDA) hereby Requests for Proposals from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) that implement programmes and projects that address poverty and support vulnerable people in communities.

The programme provides a safe space for women to heal and promotes physical and spiritual well-being. In addition, women are recruited as GBVF whistle-blowers in their communities. UWSC Programme Director Kholiwe Nongauza says the MWEP, though various courses focuses on prevention through the justice system, care, healing and economic opportunities.
