Dear NDA Stakeholders, It has come to our attention that a phishing email is currently circulating, falsely claiming to be from the National Development Agency (NDA). The email includes a link and the deceptive message, "The National Development Agency has sent you a document."

In the build-up to the last State of the Nation Address under the sixth administration, the Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu will conduct an outreach programme focusing on teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, youth, women and persons with disabilities in and around the City of Cape Town.

The Department of Social Development expresses deep concern over the recurring pattern exhibited by the City Press in its articles of desperately trying to put the reputation of the Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu in disrepute.

The National Development Agency (NDA), an agency of government, has signed a memorandum of agreement with Africa Cooperatives Institute of South Africa (ACI-SA). This move formalises a partnership aimed at contributing to poverty eradication through supporting Cooperatives that create productive individuals, families and communities through self-help developmental programmes for achieving sustainable livelihoods and earning sustainable income through Cooperative enterprises in order to break the cycle of poverty.

The National Development Agency (NDA) celebrated World Food Day, which was commemorated under the theme “Water is life, Water is food. Leave no one behind.” As part of the celebrations, the NDA continued to emphasize its commitment to eradicate poverty by supporting initiatives like the Ntsweletau Agricultural Cooperative (NAC) that has made significant contributions to food security and poverty eradication.
