The National Development Agency (NDA) is tasked with the responsibility of contributing towards the eradication of poverty in South Africa and its causes. The NDA in discharging its mandate, has to empower and enhance the capacity of the civil society sector. This ensures that the NDA helps to build more cohesive communities that are able to tackle the triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality.

The Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will on Friday, 11 October 2019 conduct a walkabout and update members of the media and stakeholders on the work of the Gender-Based Violence Command Centre (GBVCC).

The Northern Cape Province will be hosting its 2019 Social Sector Dialogue which will be facilitated by the Department of Social Development (DSD), National Development Agency (NDA) and National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC), in collaboration with the Office of The Premier.

2017 South African Early Childhood Development Awards National Winners Announced

The Presidential Jobs Summit, under the auspices of the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC), has delivered a landmark Framework Agreement consisting of high-impact actions to drive job creation, job retention and economic growth.
