Mfesane NPC unleashes 10 youth beauty entrepreneurs in partnership with National Development Agency
A grant funding partnership between a West Coast based civil society organisation, Mfesane NPC, and government’s poverty eradication entity, National Development Agency (NDA) has established 10 mobile beauty start-up businesses for 10 youth entrepreneurs within the Saldanha Bay and Bergriver Municipalities in the Western Cape.

NYDA - NYS Challenge Project
The NYDA calls for youth - led and youth – focus NPOs to submit solution oriented National Youth Service (NYS) Projects that address socioeconomic challenges faced by young people in communities. This call is to acknowledge the good work done by many youth organizations and mobilize more organizations to develop and initiate interventions that would involve young people in activities that benefit communities while developing critical skills needed for their participation in the economy. Each intervention/project should target 100 young people.

National Development Agencys Response to Newzroom Afrika Interview on CARA Programme For GBVF
The National Development Agency (NDA) has noted with concern the misleading commentary made by the Director of Rise Up Against GBV, Ms Mandisa Khanyile, on an interview with Newzroom Afrika on 7 February 2021. Ms Khanyile made remarks that Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) who had applied for the CARA funding have not been paid and that the NDA’s report to the Social Development Portfolio Committee in Parliament about payment to these CSOs have been untrue.

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY COMMEMORATES THE IMPACT OF NGOs TO MARK WORLD NGO DAY
Johannesburg –World NGO Day is celebrated worldwide annually on the 27th of February, a day to commemorate and acknowledge NGOs in South Africa that are compliant and making an impact in communities. The day also brings to the fore further solutions that can be adapted to ensure the sustainability of all registered NPOs (NGOs is a world term, locally NPO is used to include civil society organisations (CSOs), Faith Based Organisations (FBOs) and several other legal entities).

Mzansi Act Now, in collaboration with the National Development Agency (NDA), are organizing the Kathorus Candlelight on the 1st of December 2020 in the Kathorus region, Katlehong Corner Limpopo from 16h00 to 19h00, amidst the rising numbers of Femicide, sexual violence, abductions of womxn and children in the City of Ekurhuleni and South Africa as a whole.
